Allows the developer to incorporate PDF viewing Capabilities within their software applications. Supports PDF format specifications up to 1.7 (Adobe 8).
All existing Version 4 licensed PDF-XChange/Tools SDK Developer's are offered a free initial volume of distribution licenses (subject to accepting the special distribution License) to utilise the PDF-XChange Viewer SDK, a standalone Viewer SDK is also available independently of our other PDF XChange and PDF-Tools SDK offerings.
Your existing SDK version license must be maintained as current and up to date to continue to access progressive upgrades to the Viewer SDK, as its very much in its development stages at the moment with new features and functionality being added each month - e.g. If you currently have PDF-Tools V3 (V4 has just been released) you will need to upgrade to V4 now to receive a Viewer SDK License.
There are 3 distinct products available for the inclusion of PDF Viewing within the developer's Software application - either of the below maybe purchased individually - or a PRO SDK containing both items below as a 'bundled' option.
The Simple DLL SDK (available now) provides the developer with set of functions to create a means to View/Print PDF files within a window embedded in their software application. Both the GUI design and means of employing the provided functionality is very much left in the developer's hands and no Tracker branding is visible within the Developer's product.
The ActiveX SDK (available NOW) option is a fully featured, ready to incorporate facsimile of the End User PDF-XChange Viewer, again embedded within a Window of the application, the developer is able to hide and disable most of the controls and functions within the SDK and some GUI tailoring is possible - but Tracker Software branding is present and required from the 'About' Window of the embedded viewer. The ActiveX is also more feature rich than the Simple DLL method.
Developer's owning existing PDF-XChange or Tools Developer SDK's are provided with the following free distribution rights to end users of their software applications:

Once the licenses provided with the any of the above Developers SDK's have been used - prior to continuing to distribute an application utilising the PDF-XChange Viewer, the Developer must purchase an additional client distribution License Pack (CDLP) available in 50K, 100K, 250K or 1 Million Client License pack's. If a developer does not own any of the above SDK's, the purchase of a PDF-XChange Base Viewer SDK is required prior to purchasing an Client Distribution. License packs.
The PDF-XChange Viewer SDK is not a Royalty Free product as standard - however special rates may be negotiated for large Client Distribution License packs.

Download includes both the Simple Library DLL and ActiveX versions.
The Royalty Free SDK Option allows a developer to distribute the Viewer SDK within a single Specified End User application without distribution limits - additional fees are payable should the licensee wish to distribute the Viewer SDK with additional End User applications.
Please note : Once purchased you must return the completed and signed License agreement by fax or email to receive your developer license codes to enable product use within your applciation - please see the Evaluation SDK download for more information.
